First Boat Dive of the Season a Success PDF Print E-mail

The first Club boat dive of the year went off without a hitch. The boat ran superbly even with 5 five divers and full kit.

The dive was on Alisary Wall on the far side of Lochailort and conditions were very good.

A mishap with a breaking fin strap meant Dave missed the dive but his mis fortune meant that the rest of us had a boatman to pick us up again, thanks Dave!.

We are all looking forward to many more great boat dives over the coming season and lets hope the weather stays in our favour too.

The 2010 officially started over Easter Weekend with a Saturday dive at the Picnic Site which included Dave, Les, Rob and Wai.

The weather was less than perfect with a chilly wind and some drizzle. And while the water was a chilly 6 degrees and there was less life to see than usual at the site, all had a good dive.

Even as I write this plans are a go for a Sunday dive!

Lets hope we have a great season with lots to see, new members and new sites.

Good, safe, fun diving All!!!

Seeing as how bad the old forum software was to mange I updated it to the latest version. This led to problems with the software that the forum was incorporated into not recognising it properly. So welcome to the 4th incarnation of the home of Lochaber Sub Aqua Club on the internet.

It has to be said though that this software (Joomla) is very very nice to look at, a ton less buggy and feature packed. The site has alot more options now that the old site wouldn't accomodate.

This site is now a work in progress (again) but it should take shape fairly quickly over the next week or two. Any bugs, issues or things you'd like included/ removed let me know and I'll try to get it done as quickly as possible.
